Pokémon turns 30 this month, and Courtyard is marking it with a full week of themed drops: five special-edition packs, one per day, with boosted buybacks and daily live rips.
From Monday, February 23 through Friday, February 27 (Pokémon’s official birthday), the platform is dropping a new pack each day at 12:00pm ET. Entry points range from $69 to $199, so there’s a tier for different budgets and chase appetites.
The lineup
- Monday, Feb 23 — $69 Pikachu & Eevee — The faces of the franchise. For the fans who got in early and never left.
- Tuesday, Feb 24 — $99 Black Star Promo — Promos don’t always get the spotlight; this drop is for the people who know.
- Wednesday, Feb 25 — $99 Team Rocket — Dark, rare, iconic. Team Rocket energy, full send.
- Thursday, Feb 26 — $99 Dragon — Dragon-types: prestige, power, scarcity. Rayquaza to Dragonite—serious collectors know the weight.
- Friday, Feb 27 — $199 Vintage — The closer. The cards that started it all. Courtyard saved the biggest for last.

100% FMV buybacks, all week
For this run, buyback offers on every card from these special-edition packs are set to 100% Fair Market Value. That’s a meaningful change for anyone who cares about downside: you’re not just chasing; you have a full FMV exit behind every pull. It’s the kind of structure that makes limited, themed weeks like this worth watching—whether you’re on Polygon, Base, or elsewhere.
Live rips and giveaways
Every day at 2:00pm ET Courtyard is going live to rip that day’s pack and bring in team members to talk Pokémon, chase cards, and stories. Streams run on Instagram, X, YouTube, and Twitch. They’re also running a giveaway: two winners each get the full set of all five packs. Entry is on X and Instagram; winners are announced during the Friday finale stream.
Pokémon is where Courtyard started—before sports, comics, and One Piece. This week is a direct nod to that. If you’re in the ecosystem, the calendar and the buyback terms are the place to start; then line up the packs you care about and see how they fit your usual platforms and risk.
Thirty years in, the hobby is as alive as ever. Courtyard’s giving it a proper birthday week.
