Gacha Games Week 3: Three Anniversary Machines and a Raid Boss to Beat Together

Week three of the September Gacha Games (September 15 to 21) is the one Collector Crypt built the month around. Three new Pokémon 30th Anniversary Gachas went live today at $30, $300 and $3,000, timed to the Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set that releases tomorrow, and the featured challenge is a collaborative Raid Boss.

"Three decades. Three ways to celebrate," the announcement reads. "Every rip also counts toward this week's Raid Boss battle. Choose your tier. Join the fight."

How the raid works

Every rip on the three anniversary machines counts toward the community's damage on the boss. That is the extent of what Collector Crypt has said publicly. The boss's hit points, the reward for beating it, and whether individual contributions are tracked have only been shared in Discord, so join there if you want the full picture. We will report the outcome when it is published.

The guide also promises "a series of special Gacha releases launching during the week" beyond the three anniversary machines.

The three tiers

All three machines are Pokémon-only pools built for the anniversary. Odds and value bands as listed on the platform:

$30 machine (EV $32.00)

| Tier | Value | Odds | | --- | --- | --- | | Common | $15 to $30 | 80% | | Uncommon | $30 to $60 | 15% | | Rare | $60 to $150 | 4% | | Epic | $150+ | 1% |

$300 machine (EV $309.00): the same odds, with bands of $150 to $300, $300 to $600, $600 to $2,500, and Epic at $2,500 and up.

$3,000 machine (EV $3,025.00)

| Tier | Value | Odds | | --- | --- | --- | | Common | $1,500 to $3,000 | 75% | | Uncommon | $3,000 to $6,000 | 20% | | Rare | $6,000 to $15,000 | 4% | | Epic | $15,000+ | 1% |

The $3,000 machine is the only one of the three with a 25% chance of pulling above cost on any single rip. It also carries a 60x Gacha Points multiplier against 6x on the $300 and 0.6x on the $30, which matters for anyone chasing the month's Total Points Leaderboard.

The cards on the poster

Collector Crypt's launch graphic shows the kind of card the pools are built from. Pictured, without stated tiers or values:

  • 2000 Pokémon Rocket Dark Charizard Holo, 1st Edition, PSA 10
  • 2002 Japanese Charizard eCard promo, PSA 10
  • 1995 Japanese Topsun Pikachu "Blue Back"
  • Poncho-wearing Pikachu (Rayquaza), Beckett graded
  • Dark Dragonair reverse foil, PSA
  • Deoxys Japanese holo
  • Gengar and Ancient Mew in CGC Pristine 10

Treat that as a mood board rather than a pull list. Collector Crypt has not published named chase cards or per-card odds for the anniversary machines.

Gym badges this week

Wednesday September 16 is Poison type for the Soul Badge, Friday September 18 is Psychic type for the Marsh Badge. Rips on the anniversary machines count toward both the raid and the badge if the card matches the type.

Also live

  • The 14-day streak badge landed today for anyone who has ripped every day since September 1.
  • Week two's secret challenge was Dragon Ball Z: an Uncommon or better from either DBZ machine. Expect another Discord-only challenge this week.
