CARDS Lands on Crypto.com With USD Trading

CARDS, the token behind Collector Crypt, is now trading on Crypto.com with a USD pair. The listing surfaced today through CoinGecko's news feed and Crypto.com's own price page. Collector Crypt has not issued a press release, so treat the exact go-live time as approximate.

It is the token's first listing on a major centralized exchange with fiat trading. Until now, most CARDS volume has run through Raydium on Solana.

Why it matters

Collector Crypt is the largest onchain gacha operator on Solana by a wide margin, and CARDS is how that activity flows back to holders. Fee income from the marketplace, proceeds from the gacha buyback programme and LP earnings fund periodic burns. A fiat on-ramp on Crypto.com widens the pool of people who can buy the token without first setting up a Solana wallet.

The market has been moving ahead of the news. CARDS is up roughly 43% over the past week to about $0.177 at the time of writing.

The burn behind it

The listing comes a month after the token's first anniversary on August 29, which Collector Crypt marked by burning 22,485,689 CARDS, about 5.4% of circulating supply. The burn was funded from marketplace fee income, support purchases from the gacha buyback programme, and LP fee earnings. Raydium confirmed $1.1 billion in cumulative CARDS DEX volume on the same day.

The revenue that pays for those burns is substantial. CoinGecko's January to mid-September ranking puts Collector Crypt at $72.8 million in on-chain revenue, in the same bracket as Phantom, Aave and Aerodrome. A separate CoinGecko headline from around September 20 cites about $118 million in gross revenue over the trailing 30 days, though we have not seen the underlying data.

The unlock to watch

One date matters for anyone trading the listing: September 29, when 59.26 million CARDS, about 3% of supply, unlock for advisors. At current prices that is roughly $10.9 million of new circulating supply landing six days after the Crypto.com listing.

Loose ends

Two other CARDS headlines circulated this month. One reported a $600,000 on-chain Charizard sale with zero fees, the other a governance vote on token allocation that passed amid warnings about scam links. We could not find primary sources for either and have left them out of the record until Collector Crypt publishes details.
