Beezie Is Leaving Base: Claws Pause October 19, Migration to Solana Opens October 20

Nine months after launching on Base, Beezie is winding it down. In an email to subscribers today, and a matching blog post, the company said it is "making Solana its home" and will phase out Base through a planned migration that starts Monday.

The short version: Base Claws stop on October 19, a migration tool opens October 20, and the Base site goes into maintenance on October 27. If you hold Beezie collectibles or wallet funds on Base, you have a week to move them yourself. Collectibles you leave behind move automatically. Funds do not.

The timeline

  • October 19, 3AM ET. Base Claws are paused while Beezie migrates their inventory to Solana. That covers the Platinum TCG, Gold TCG, Silver TCG and Wildcard machines on Base.
  • October 20, 8AM ET. The migration tool opens. Base users can move eligible collectibles and supported Beezie wallet funds to Solana in what Beezie describes as a one-click flow. Base redemptions pause at the same time. Marketplace trading on Base stays open.
  • October 27, 8AM ET. The window closes and the Base site enters maintenance for roughly 48 hours. During that time every Base action is unavailable, including marketplace trading and bridging.

Beezie says no action is needed yet and that it will send step-by-step instructions before the tool goes live.

What migrates and what doesn't

This is the part worth reading twice.

Collectibles are safe either way. Anything eligible that you have not migrated by October 27 will be moved to your Beezie Solana wallet automatically during maintenance. You log in to Beezie on Solana with the same email address you used on Base and your items are there.

Wallet funds are different. Beezie states plainly that funds remaining on Base "will not move automatically." You either bridge them during the migration window or wait for a dedicated bridging page that will be available after maintenance ends. Beezie has not said how long that page will stay up, so bridging during the window is the safer option.

Beezie has not published what "eligible" and "supported" exclude. If you hold anything unusual on Base, check the migration tool when it opens rather than assuming it carries over.

Changes that apply today

A handful of Base programmes end before the migration itself:

  • No new bonus free pulls or discount codes are being issued for Base. Existing codes work until their original expiry.
  • No new raffles, Points Shop drops or Points Vault drops will launch on Base. Running raffles finish on their scheduled end date this Saturday, October 17.
  • Base redemptions continue until migration opens on October 20, then pause.
  • Buying and selling on the Base marketplace continues until the window closes on October 27.

Where the sites end up

After maintenance, beezie.com becomes the Solana platform. The old solana.beezie.com address redirects there. A new base.beezie.com address gives temporary access to "supported legacy Base functions," which is where the funds bridging page will live.

Why Beezie is doing this

Beezie's stated reason is fragmentation. Running on several chains "meant splitting our collectors, inventory, and Marketplace activity across different ecosystems," the post says. One chain means one order book for the marketplace and one inventory pool for the Claws.

The numbers back that reading. Solana has been the growth chain since the Claw went live there in July with no recycled slabs, and it is where the luxury partnership with The Luxury Closet was built. Base got Beezie to $100 million in volume, but the newest products have all shipped on Solana first.

The announcement does not mention Flow, where Beezie originally launched. Beezie has not said whether Flow is affected, and the blog post describes the end state as "one chain."

What to watch

The machine lineup on Solana after the Base inventory arrives. Solana currently has no Gold tier, and Base's Gold TCG machine at $250 is one of the ones being paused on Monday. Whether it reappears on Solana, and at what SWAP rate, is the first thing to check once the Claws come back.
